Nenek & mesin ATM

Semasa berbaris kat mesin ATM di stesyen Petronas, seorang nenek di hadapan nak keluarkan duit....terpandang di screen ATM baki akaunnya kurang dari RM10.....nampak jelas rasa hampa dan kecewa di wajahnya semasa meninggalkan ATM....mungkin mengharapkan duit kiriman anak anaknya yang dijangka dah masuk......Dari rupa pakaiannya, nampak macam nenek ni nak pergi menziarah ....mungkin nak menjengok cucu cucunya..dan memerlukan sedikit Wang untuk membeli buah tangan.........Jadi anak anak kepada nenek ini, sila masukkan duit untuk mak tersayang..............

Wudhuk dan Air

Tadi semasa berwuduk, di sebelah kita seorang hamba Allah yang berasal dari negara Afrika pun mengambil wuduk. Dia akan menutup paip setiap kali dia selesai membasuh muka dan membuka semula paip air bila membasuh tangan dan seterusnya dan paip air dibuka terlalu kecil sahaja.....Malu rasa kita pulak dok bukak paip macam air percuma aje.....Mungkin di negaranya , air merupakan barangan yang amat kurang dan bernilai...jadi penghargaan terhadap air itu lebih........Sebenarnya dengan sebotol air mineral yang kecil tu sudah lebih dari cukup untuk kita berwuduk.....Peringatan untuk diri sendiri dan semua.......

Malaysia Terkini Post PRU13

Really irritated with the post PRU13 racial slurs   spewed out by so called educated people (muslims that too...) you name them, politicians, educationalists,  doctors, motivators etc... . .... After more than 50 years of independence, it looks that our minds are still clouded by bigotry and hatred. If others have made some racial remarks, do we have to stoop low and  make the same remark in retaliation?  The worst part, these remarks are posted in the public domains.....

Apparently, the public and religious educations  that we have learned and provided by our parents   are only helping our career path but failed to improve our  human interrelationship and our mind well-being. What a waste and what a shame....

I'm really worried about our children's future, knowing that they are surrounded by these bigots  in their daily life....

Moving forward, let's work together to extricate ourselves from this rotten and vicious cycle... It is not easy and a long journey but certainly  worth a try for the benefits of our nation and children.


Let's do it folks......for being tolerant and forgiving are so humane......

A Pensioner ,Credit Cards and Career Path....

While driving from sending Kak Long for her PLKN programme this morning, I over heard my HM's conversation with a caller from a credit card promoter. Being a 2nd.  day Pensioner herself, the tele-conversation I believe would be more or less in this manner....

The Promoter: Puan Zuraida Idris , good morning,
The Pensioner: Good Morning, May I know who is calling?
The Promoter: I'm xxxxxxx, calling from XXXX Bank and we are now promoting our credit card ....
The Pensioner: I'm sorry, I'm not interested to apply for another credit card.......bla...bla...
The Promoter: bla....bla...
.........bla....bla...
The Pensioner: ....bla..bla...

As soon as my HM finished the conversation, I told her, why didn't you tell the promoter that you are a pensioner, that surely can shorten the conversation pretty quickly. She immediately replied , yeah I should have said that to the promoter......Being a 2nd day pensioner, she was not getting used to her new "career" path..

On her 2nd thought, she said if I told her that I'm a pensioner, my existing and highly active credit cards would be in jeopardy and can be terminated.... My reply to her.... good for me....ha..ha....that would slow down my monthly cash outflow...

Talking about career path...in the newspaper today, a new 60+++ year old lady mayor for PJ was announced...good for her. From the photo and her statements  I can see she  really means business. Even the other guy was having a difficult time to give a smile for the cameraman.... Her career  track records surely explain something, otherwise who would want to employ a nenek for this kind of job.  Alternatively, she would have been a pensioner minding her kids and  cucus......just like my HM......
